![]() (scary, I know) Go to Network and Sharing Center Click on Troubleshoot Problems (bottom link on the page) Click Incoming Connections Click Next to start the Wizard Choose "Connect ot this computer using Remote Desktop Connection" After a few seconds, try to connect via RDP again. I hope that someone has a better solution. Mabey the security update enforces you to have multiple accounts on your computer.? I would think that's strange but you never know with MS. I think that some kind of update has changed the security configuration of Windows7 to login with RDP. After I configured to enable the admin account and an extra user account I could login my computer again. ![]() Regards, René I have tested with multiple user accounts and I didn't receive the error message again. Does anyone have a proper solution? I don't want to have multiple user accounts on my computer. It's turned of, so I don't think that's the solution. I didn't configure the sleep mode in Windows7. It seems to be the problem, I still need to test it. ![]() My problem started again after I disabled the administrator account en deleted my old user account. ![]() :-( Again I experience the problem "Remote Desktop Connection - An authentication error has occurred (Code: 0x80090308)" It looks like it has to do with the configuration of one user account in Windows7. Hello there again, My solution was temporary. ![]()
